The Nurse, Nutrition manages acute malnutrition as part of basic health services in line with national and international guidelines. Responsibilities include nutrition rehabilitation of admitted children, treating medical complications of Severe Acute Malnutrition, providing therapeutic feeds and medicines, and delivering health and nutrition counselling. The role also involves capacity building and technical support to staff in the Stabilization Centre (SC) and Outpatient Therapeutic Programme (OTP).
